The Situation:

Higher Ed EXPO – a new type of college and graduate fair – launched a national circuit of events in South Florida, holding its first event at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Since this was a start up enterprise, it needed to have all of its marketing materials and corporate identity built from scratch. In consequence, the task at hand was the conceptualization and development of the brand, logo, collateral materials, brochures, advertisements, communication packages, registration forms and manuals.

The Result

We developed a modern, stylized brand that clearly communicated the values and the purpose of the event series. We also developed graphic standards and designed a series of collateral materials, mailers, stationery, brochures and design elements to help Higher Ed EXPO carry out their mission. In their first event, Higher Ed EXPO was able to draw nearly 150 universities to participate as exhibitors, as well as over 20 sponsors. Participating institutions included Harvard, Cornell, Northwestern, University of Florida, University of Miami and many others. Sponsors included The Miami Herald, Power 96, NextStep Magazine,  and the School Board of Miami Dade County.
